Hola, amigos!
Today I thought I would share another edible gift idea. I’ve made these cookies for a ton of parties and people love them. To me they resemble a snow covered chocolate cookie so I think they are perfect for winter! The ingredients I used were :
- 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup ( more or less) of confectioners’ sugar
To start I combined the cocoa, white sugar, and vegetable oil. After they were well mixed, I beat in the eggs one at a time.
Once all the eggs were mixed in I added the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl I combined the flour, baking powder, and salt.
After they were thoroughly combined, I dumped half of the dry mix into the wet mixture. After mixing that, I added the rest of the dry mix.
Once everything was well combined,
I chilled the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
After the dough was chilled, I created an assembly line.
So first you scoop about a tablespoon of dough, and plop it in the powdered sugar. You want to make sure you coat it completely in the powdered sugar.
I then placed it on a greased baking sheet. I did this until all of them were ready to be baked.
I baked them at 350 degrees for 10 minuets.
These turned out soooooo good. Every time I’ve made them people always ask for the recipe, so here it is!! 🙂
Wrap some of these up in a box or a cellophane bag, and you’ve got an immediate gift. These are SUPER delicious! I hope you try them out. I’ll see you guys tomorrow!
Merry Christmas,
Victoria 🙂
