Q+A with Sixteen Southern Gospel Artists

Hello Everyone!!

Welcome back to the blog! Today you are in for a real treat! I have a Q+A with sixteen of the BEST southern gospel artists!!

Two weekends ago, I went to  the Texas Gospel Music Festival in Ft. Worth, Texas! And let’s just say it was AMAZING! Heaven on earth for sure! I decided to ask as many artists as I could two questions each, and they killed it every time! The people that you are about to see on video, are not your typical singer or artist. These people truly have a heart to minister to others, and they are some of the most supportive people ever. Whether that be to their fellow artists or to their fans, they lift each other up, and encourage one another!

This video is SUPER special to me, because I have been raised on these groups for 15 years! I admire, honor, and love each and every one of these artists SO much! If you are ready to see some of my favorite people on the planet…. then LET’S GO!!

What I Eat in a Day (Healthy/Quick Recipes)

Hey Guys!

Today I am bringing you What I Eat in a Day! If you know me, then you know that I am VERY passionate about health/nutrition. One of my favorite sayings is….”Abs are made in the kitchen!” All of your power while you are working out, comes from what you fuel your body with. There is a HUGE difference between eating for pleasure, and eating for what your body needs! But….. that doesn’t mean that you can’t eat. A lot of people get the wrong idea about “dieting”. It’s all about WHAT you eat! I have you covered with breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, and DESSERT!! Yes……. you CAN eat dessert!! So without further ado, LES GO!!

BREAKFAST:  (Apple Nachos)

These are easily a favorite of mine; not only for breakfast, but for a snack as well! They are super quick and easy, and can be made ahead of time! You can also mix the toppings up and get creative with it!


  • Granny Smith Apple
  • Fresh Ground Peanut Butter (not the processed stuff)
  • Oatmeal
  • Chia Seeds
  • Raisins ( opt. Cranberries) 20171107_155302

It is basically as easy as spreading the peanut butter, and throwing the toppings on.  It literally takes 5 mins! And it’s SO good!!

So…….If you are a Chipotle fan, than you definitely recognize this one! Our family uses this recipe all the time! This is a great option for meal prep as well. Just toss everything into bowl and stack em up! Skip the rice for a low carb option! Also skip the ground turkey for a vegetarian option. An exact recipe isn’t really necessary with this meal, but start off with small portions because it is quite filling.


  • Ground Turkey
  • Brown Rice
  • Black Beans
  • Lettuce
  • Corn
  • Purple Onions
  • Cheese
  • Cilantro
  • Tomatoes
  • Avocado

For snacks I usually stick to humus and veggies, or almonds + pistachios! Great snacks that aren’t from a package…..STAY AWAY FROM THE CHIPS! 😉


DINNER: (Cauliflower Fried Rice)


Yeah…. I just said that!!!! You guys, GO MAKE THIS NOW! It will knock your socks off! We usually serve this as a one dish meal. And it will fill you up!


  • 1 head of Cauliflower
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 4  Green Onions
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup of Frozen Peas
  • 2 cups of Cooked Chicken
  • 2.5 tbsp. of  Grapeseed oil, (or olive oil) divided
  • 3 tbsp. of Braggs Liquid Aminos (or Soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp. of Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp. of Minced Garlic   20171106_162929


So for starters, you want to blend the cauliflower in the food processor, dice the carrots, chop the onions, chop the green onions, cook the eggs, and cook the chicken with the soy sauce. 20171106_171031.jpgNext, you want to sauté the carrots, and onion with the Grapeseed oil.

Then add the peas, green onions, and minced garlic! Cook for about 2 minutes, until the green onions soften. Then dump the cauliflower into it (along with the liquid aminos), and cook for 2-3 minutes! Next add the cooked chicken, and cooked egg, back into the mixture! Serve it up, and enjoy it!!

DESSERT: (Kind Bars) 20171107_121010

These are my go to dessert options! I usually will eat one of these when I get a sweet tooth! My favorites are the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt, and the Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond. Not only are these low in sugar, but they also have a good amount of protein! And I love them probably more than I should!

I  hope you guys enjoyed seeing what I eat in a day! This obviously varies on a daily basis, but I try and keep it low-carb, and unprocessed. But….. I won’t say no to BBQ on the weekends! 🙂

Interview and Q+A with Rev. Chad + Fallon Erickson

Hello Everyone!

Today I am so honored to have two very special guests on the blog! Rev. Chad + Fallon Erickson, Associate & Administrative Pastor of First Apostolic Church, Maryville, Tn. If you have not heard of them, and their church, then you are in for a real treat!

I became acquainted with the Church in Maryville, Tn. while I lived in Mexico for two years as a missionary kid. I was on the hunt for a good church to watch online, because I couldn’t understand anything in Mexico. I found FAC Maryville, and immediately loved it! Fast forward two years, and they still are one of my favorite churches!

Rev. Chad + Fallon Erickson are phenomenal leaders, music geniuses, and…….. Are extremely talented! I know for a fact that you will love this video! So lets get to it!!
